Gabrielle Hsu is a NYC based pianist and piano teacher. She has performed recitals all around the world in Poland, the Netherlands, and throughout the United States. She is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and the New England Conservatory of Music with degrees in piano performance and is a laureate of competitions such as the 2022 Hartford Chopin Competition, 2022 George Gershwin Piano Competition, 2021 New York Artists International Competition, 2021 Prima Volta Music Competition, and 2019 William Knabe International Piano Competition.
As a piano teacher, she has worked with students from age 4-50 and of varying skill level! She was a teaching fellow at the New England Conservatory of Music from 2019-2021 where she partnered with Boston Hope Music, giving lessons to Health Care workers during the pandemic, and the Boys and Girl Club at Charles Sumner Elementary School where she gave piano lessons to 3rd graders. She currently maintains a private studio in New York City and works at Steinway & Sons as a Brand Ambassador.
